NEW YORK, January 24, 2017 – Star Mountain Capital, LLC (“Star Mountain”), a specialized alternative asset manager focused exclusively on the U.S. lower middle-market, is pleased to announce that George Mattson has joined as a Strategic Investor and Industry Advisor.
George Mattson has a distinguished thirty-year history of operating and finance experience, most notably as the former Co-Head of the Global Industrials Group in investment banking, and a Partner, at Goldman Sachs.
Among his current activities as a private investor, Mr. Mattson serves on the Board of Directors of Delta Air Lines, Inc. (NYSE: DAL). Mr. Mattson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Duke University and a Masters of Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
