Star Mountain CEO Brett Hickey to Speak at the Rights & Responsibilities of Institutional Investors Forum in Amsterdam

This event will bring together over 100 senior executives and investors from institutional investors around the world

NEW YORK, NEW YORK, USA, March 9, 2017 / Brett Hickey, Founder & CEO of Star Mountain Capital, a specialized alternative asset manager focused exclusively on the U.S. lower middle-market, is scheduled to speak at the 12th annual Rights & Responsibilities of Institutional Investors conference on March 10th in Amsterdam. This event will take place from March 9th to March 10th at Hotel NH Collection Amsterdam Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky and will bring together a community of over 100 senior level investment executives from around the world. Star Mountain’s Brett Hickey will be speaking on the panel, “The Dark Side of Doing Good: The Unintentional Consequences of Having the Right Intentions” where he will be joined by other prominent industry executives including Ulrika Hasselgren from Institutional Shareholder Services and Peter Lunt from Universities Superannuation Scheme. The panel will discuss the unintended consequences that “doing good” can have such as, increasing unemployment, impairing local tax bases and impacting local communities. 

Condoleezza Rice, former United States National Security Advisor and former United States Secretary of State under President George W. Bush, will be providing the keynote address at the conference.

This invitation-only event will also discuss globalization and its consequences for responsible shareholders with panels covering topics such as, global CEOs, Brexit/Future of Europe, the importance of tackling climate change and more.
